Aromatherapy is continually gaining popularity in the world of alternative medicines. A lot of

The most critical part of pregnancy when aromatherapy should as much as possible be avoided is the first trimester. There are some oils that
can be harmful for an expecting mother and some people say there are even some essential oils that can cause abortion. Avoid the use of
lemongrass, cedar wood, cinnamon and basil during the entire period of pregnancy. Geranium should be avoided during the early stage of pregnancy.
Cypress could also be used after the 5th month of pregnancy. There are also some oils like jasmine, rose and clary sage that are not suggested to
be used on the whole term of pregnancy except during labor.
Always consult with your doctor before using any essential oils. They could say which oil is good for you and which ones to avoid. Always make
sure as well that you use the right amount of pure oils, just the right amount suggested for expecting moms. You could also do your own research
